Chris Hankey (Fenton), Les Fancourt (Cheddleton), Doug Barnett (Crewe) and Phil Wright (Crewe) all played in this weekend's Nottingham Congress. Chris scored 2.5/5 in the Major Section. Les and Doug were the strong men in the Intermediate Section, propping up the table with 0/5. Phil did considerably better in the Improvers Section, finishing joint 8th out of 21, with a score of 2.5/5.
