With Divisions 1/2/3/4 and the Open Cup all wrapped up I have started to update the 2018/2019 Honours List. Division 5 looks like coming down to the final fixture between the top 2 teams - Cheddleton 'H' and Crewe 'E' - on the 8th May. Both teams are level on points but Cheddleton have a higher game point count. However, Crewe have a match in hand so it's anybody's guess who will come out on top. Don't go giving William Hill your money just yet !! The 1st May will see the remaining Cup Finals being played, all of them featuring Crewe teams and all being played at Crewe.
In the County Cups, Fenton are playing Sutton Coldfield in the Final of the Gothard Cup - the U161 competition - on the 8th May, with Sutton Coldfield aiming to win it for the 3rd year running. The finalists in the other 2 County competitions - the Jackson (U141) and Withnall (U121) - are still to be resolved.
