Alex Richardson Qualifies For British Championship
Many congratulations to Alex Richardson of Newcastle Chess Club on winning the Heywood Congress with a perfect score of 5/5, with his lowest graded opponent having a grading of 193 !! This has qualified Alex to take part in the British Championship in Sheffield in the last week of July and first week of August and I'm sure that everybody in the NSDCA will be wishing him every success as he flies the flag for Staffordshire.
