Staffs U140 Team Lose To Derbyshire
The Staffs U140 team were beaten 10 - 6 by Derbyshire at Spondon this afternoon in the MCCU U140 County Championship. Staffs went into the match knowing that they were going to default 2 boards as John Day was unable to raise a full team. Unfortunately, another player also failed to arrive and so Staffs started the match 3 - 0 down and faced an uphill battle from the start.
