NSDCA players had a very successful weekend at the Crewe Congress.
Many congratulations to Harry Gardiner (Crewe) on winning the Minor Section with a perfect 5/5, to Karl Lockett (Crewe) on winning the Major Section, also with a perfect 5/5, and to Jacob Boswell (Cheddleton) on finishing joint 1st in the Open Section with 4/5. Neville Layhe (Crewe) was joint 2nd with 7 others in the Major Section.
Just outside the prizes were Julian Hawthorne (Kidsgrove) and Dave Price (Crewe), who finished joint 4th in the Intermediate Section with 3.5/5, and Ernie Wilkinson (Fenton), who finished joint 4th in the Minor Section, with 3.5/5.
