There was the usual contingent of NSDCA players at this weekend's Shropshire Congress. Thivyaa Rahulan was playing in the Open, Jon Blackburn in the Major, Neville Layhe, Doug Barnett, Sandra Blackburn, Stuart Hull and Ernie Wilkinson in the Intermediate, Derek Whitehurst and Les Hall in the Minor. Unfortunately, their presence wasn't required at the prize giving.
