Following the success of last season's UK v EU match, which the EU won by 5-1, the event will be repeated this season on Monday 21st May 2018 at Fenton Chess Club. I am hoping to make it an 8 board match this season, so if you have any EU players at your club who would be willing to play then please let me know. The UK team will be selected after we know which EU players will be playing. All clubs will be given the opportunity to have one of their members selected for the UK team and we will be making sure that everybody plays somebody else of a similar grade. The January 2018 Grading List will be used and all of the games will be submitted for grading.
