Unfortunately it was a hat trick of losses, with Bill losing his 3rd successive match In the IBCA Olympiad in a 3.5 - 0.5 defeat for the UK against a very strong Ukrainian team. However, the UK team as a whole fared reasonably well in the competition, with 4 wins 1 draw and 4 losses from their 9 matches, and finishing 13th out of 27 teams. As their starting ranking was 16th this was not a bad result.
