South Potteries Rapidplay Championship
A couple of late withdrawals meant that numbers were slightly down on last year. However, this did not detract from a very close competition, with 3 players finishing level on 4.5/6 - Jacob Boswell, Simon Edwards and Kasian Capatina. With no play-off this year the title was decided on countback, using the sum of progressive scores. After the dust had settled Jacob retained the title he won last year, with Simon coming second and Kasian third. Congratulations also go to Les Hall for managing (just) to stay awake all day.
