Macclesfield missed the chance to go to the top of Division 2 after being held by bottom of the table Fenton 'A'.
Division 3
Another team to miss out on going top of their Division were Meir 'A', who were beaten by bottom of the table Kidsgrove. An excellent performance by Kidsgrove, who were outgraded on every board, saw them move from bottom to joint bottom.
