St Edwards Girls 3rd In National Schools Championship
Congratulations to the girls from the St Edwards School U12 team on finishing 3rd in the National U19 Schools Team Championship this weekend. The St Edwards team consisted of Sian Jones, Emma Scotchford, Bethany Woolliscroft and Libby Sherratt, all members of Cheddleton Chess Club. Particular congratulations must go to Libby Sherratt who scored 3.5/5. The team were coached by Colin Abell, Caroline Mountford and David Rose.
