Kidsgrove moved to within a point of Cheddleton 'E' in Division 3 with a 2.5 - 1.5 win against joint 3rd placed Newcastle 'C' last night. Newcastle 'C' and Meir 'A' are now 5 points adrift and it's becoming increasingly difficult to look beyond the top two for this season's title.
