Holmes Chapel defaulted their match against Kidsgrove last night, making last year's Champions this years Wooden Spoonists. With only 2 fixtures remaining it's anybody's guess who's going to win it this year. Newcastle play Alsager next Wdednesday and a win would guarantee them at least a share of first place. The same applies to Kidsgrove, who play Alsager in the final fixture the following week. However, Alsager could upset the apple cart and win both of these matches to pinch it at the post.
The Alsager AGM takes place next Tuesday 6th August.
