·         5 Round Swiss Competitions
·         Half point byes available, except in last round.
·         The July 2019 Grading List will be used.
·         All games will be submitted for grading.
·         All sections (hopefully) will be equipped with digital clocks
·         Rate of play is all moves in 95 minutes plus 10 second increments.
·         If analogue clocks are used the rate of play is all moves in105 minutes.
·         Rounds will start at 09:30, 14:00 and 18:30 on the Saturday and 10:00 and 14:30 on the Sunday.
·         Access to the premises is from 09:00 on Saturday and 09:30 on Sunday.
·         Entry fee for ECF Silver Members and above £15 (Adults) and £13 (Juniors – U18 On 1st September 2019).
·         Entry fee for Bronze and non-ECF Members – add £9 to the above fee or upgrade your ECF Membership yourself.
·         2 Prizes per section of a ‘to be announced’ size.
·         The Controllers decision in all matters is final.

·         Players will be automatically entered into the lowest Section for which they are eligible, unless they request otherwise.
·         Acknowledgement of entry will be by text message or email only.
·         Names, grades, clubs and results may appear on any site having a legitimate interest.
·         This is defined as a site, not necessarily official, of any organisation having a past or present Member playing in the Congress.

Many bars, cafes, pubs, restaurants and takeaways within easy walking distance.
The nearest car park is in King Street, next to the Borough Arms Hotel. The tariff is £3.50 for 24 hours on Saturday and free on Sunday.
Re-pairing will take place after 30 minutes.
If 2 Sections each have an odd number of players in given round then a graded friendly will be arranged.
If the total number of players in a given round is an odd number, one player will be given a full point bye
