The Potteries Junior Chess Club, being set up by Chris Hankey, will be opening it's doors at The Gables, 450 Trentham Road, Blurton, ST3 3DS on Saturday the 10th September, from 10:00 until 12:00. The Membership Fee is likely to be £1.50 per session or £5 a month.
Chris has also arranged for International Master Lawrence Cooper to give a 16 board simultaneous display on Saturday 17th September. This will be open to any non-Members of the Potteries Junior Chess Club after the 31st August, if there are any places left. Non-members includes adults as well as juniors and the entry fee will be £6.
