A 3rd successive 2 - 2 draw for England in the 8th round, this time against Hungary, saw them slip back to joint 6th place in the table. They now face Poland in the 9th and final round. Scotland were beaten 2.5 - 1.5 by Macedonia and are now joint 35th in the table. Wales were beaten 3.5 - 0.5 by Poland Goldies and remain rooted to the bottom of the table with no points.
The England Women's team slipped back to joint 24th following a 2.5 - 1.5 defeat by Azebaijan. They now play Iceland in the last round.
